Jay Timmons
Congratulations to Jay Timmons, a former ten-year member of the National Center for Public Policy Research board of directors, for being selected as the new president and CEO of the National Association of Manufacturers.
Jay, who served as chief of staff to George Allen in both the Senate and the Virginia governor’s office, replaces former Michigan Governor John Engler in the position.
Actually, I suppose I should congratulate NAM more than Jay, as it is getting a heckuva good CEO — a man who understands and supports the free market while knowing how to get things done.
