Bob Grant, RIP

I was saddened to learn today of the death of Bob Grant, a legendary talk show host who was a prominent fixture in several cities before spending 30 years on the airwaves in New York City with WOR and WABC.

Bob Grant was extremely supportive of Project 21, the black conservative leadership group we sponsor. In Project 21’s early years, Bob was one of the most frequent bookers of Project 21 spokesmen on the issues of the day.

Despite the immense audience size and influence of Bob’s program, it is the show on which very many Project 21 members got their first media experience.

We will always be grateful to Bob for his frequent and gracious support to Project 21.
