30 Apr 2006 Jean-Francois Revel’s Extraordinary Contribution
Via Michelle Malkin comes the news that Jean-Francois Revel has died.
Had he done nothing more than write his Cold War wake-up call “How Democracies Perish,” his contribution to the world would have justly been called extraordinary — yet he did much more.
A loss, too, on the left side of the fence: John Kenneth Galbraithis dead at 97.
He is best eulogized by those who appreciated him; The Nation magazine’s blog praises him warmly here.
