From the Christian Science Monitor, a statistic very inconvenient to those who call the Tea Parties racist:

…It is true that the demographics of tea party groups are overwhelmingly white, according to polls. A recent Gallup survey found that 79 percent of tea party supporters are non-Hispanic whites. America is becoming a country in which people are judged by the content of the character and not the color of their skin, and the NAACP just can’t stand it.
