Is the Justice Department Considering an Indictment of Charlie Rangel?

Just wondering, given that the House Ethics Committee has now formally concluded that Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-NY) filed incorrect Congressional financial disclosure forms. Filing false financial disclosure forms was one of the charges when the Justice Department indicted the late Senator Ted Stevens (R-AK). (Yes, the DOJ later withdrew the charges against Stevens, but for unrelated reasons.)

Granted, the two cases are not identical. For instance, Stevens was a white Republican, and Rangel is a black Democrat.

Then again, for all we know, an indictment is pending.
