25 May 2011 Black Conservative to Testify Before Congress About Obama’s War on Fossil Fuels
Washington, D.C. – Project 21 Fellow Deneen Borelli will testify before the full U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Natural Resources on Wednesday, May 25 at 10:00 AM in room 1324 of the Longworth House Office Building. Borelli will provide testimony in the oversight hearing on “Harnessing American Resources to Create Jobs and Address Rising Gasoline Prices — Part III: Impacts on Seniors, Working Families and Memorial Day Vacations.”
“I am excited and proud to have the opportunity to testify before Congress after years of writing and talking about America’s need for available and affordable energy in the media,” said Project 21’s Borelli. “My testimony underscores the necessity for Congress to put a stop to President Obama’s war on fossil fuels and support policies that will allow us to develop our natural resources to grow the economy, create jobs and provide affordable energy for hardworking Americans.”
The hearing is to be shown online live at http://naturalresources.house.gov/Live/
Borelli is an outspoken critic of the Obama Administration’s attempts to further regulate fossil fuel-related industries in the United States and impose restrictions on domestic fossil fuel-related energy production. Borelli is a columnist for FoxNews.com and the Daily Caller and a regular contributor to the Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network as well as a frequent guest on talk radio. Borelli is also a regular speaker at tea party events from coast to coast — including the major September 12 rallies in Washington, D.C. in 2009 and 2010.
