Obama Needs Advisors with a Record of Achievement to Stimulate Growth in Private Sector, Not Failed “Crony Capitalists”

The National Center for Public Policy Research’s Free Enterprise Project has just released a press release criticizing President Obama’s decision to highlight “crony capitalist” Jeffrey Immelt of General Electric at the President’s jobs speech last night.

“Obama’s failure to create jobs and economic growth is directly related to the President’s inability to understand capitalism and select advisors who have a record of business achievement. Presidential jobs advisor Jeffrey Immelt has an awful record as CEO of GE and he is ill-equipped to provide the counsel President Obama needs to get our economy going,” says our Free Enterprise Project Director Dr. Tom Borelli in the press release.
