Announcing GroupSnoop.org!

We here at the National Center are proud to announce the launch of our new educational website, GroupSnoop.org.  Developed, researched and written by National Center staff, GroupSnoop.org profiles influential non-profit public policy organizations.

Non-profits play a large part in the public policy arena, but unfortunately, information about these groups on the Internet is often misleading and biased.  GroupSnoop.org is here to help.  GroupSnoop.org presents factual, straightforward information about non-profits, foundations, advocacy organizations and more.

From the Center for American Progress to the Ford Foundation, non-profits are hard at work trying to affect American life in ways that many citizens don’t realize.  Non-profits can influence everything from the food we eat, to the cars we drive to the gas that we put in those cars. GroupSnoop.org shines a much-needed light on these groups and their activities.

GroupSnoop.org launches today with profiles of more than 20 organizations including Greenpeace, Planned Parenthood, NPR and the ACLU.  We will be profiling many more organizations in the coming weeks and months.

We hope you enjoy it, share it and come back often for updates and new pages!
