27 Mar 2012 Jeff Stier Discusses Bloomberg’s War on Private Charity on Tuesday Night on CNBC

Jeff Stier, the director of the National Center for Public Policy Research’s Risk Analysis Division, is scheduled to be a guest of Larry Kudlow on the Tuesday night edition of “The Kudlow Report” on CNBC.  He was asked to join in the program tonight to discuss the latest in Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s regulatory war on private charity in New York City.

Last week, Jeff wrote about the Bloomberg Administration’s decision to ban private donations to city-run food banks in the New York Post.  The very unpopular move, which was recently panned by 82 percent of those surveyed in a recent Rasmussen Reports poll, prompted Cal Thomas (America’s most syndicated columnist) to write that the act “takes the notion of ‘food police’ to a new level.”

Tonight, Jeff will give the latest reports on this blow to the Big Apple’s poorest citizens at approximately 7:50PM eastern.
