Jeff Stier, director of the National Center for Public Policy Research’s Risk Analysis Division, talks about how New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is taking advantage of the city’s social safety net to impose nutritional rules on New Yorkers — in this case, the city’s underprivileged. Jeff recently wrote a commentary for the New York Post that reported how city-run food banks are no longer accepting private donations of food because city officials say they cannot assess the nutritional value of such donations.  Joining Jeff in this debate on the issue of food cops on the 3/27/12 of CNBC’s “Kudlow Report” is host Larry Kudlow and Joel Berg of the New York City Coalition Against Hunger.
