KFC is Chicken; Yum! Brands, Owner of KFC, Taco Bell, Long John Silvers and Pizza Hut Joins Anti-Conservative Boycott Spearheaded by Tiny Radical Group

iStockScaredChickenWYum! Brands, owner of KFC, Taco Bell, Long John Silvers and Pizza Hut, and formerly best-known for seeking to require taxpayers to subsidize it by lobbying governments to allow food stamp recipients to use food stamps in restaurants, apparently has decided to join the anti-conservative boycott already in progress by McDonalds, Wendy’s, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Mars candy, Kraft Foods and other major corporations.

So claims a press release by Color of Change, a left-wing radical group co-founded by Van Jones, who was eased out of the Obama Administration after his past work, which includes advocacy activities in support of a convicted cop killer and 9/11 “trutherism,” became widely known.

Color of Change is a very tiny organization whose headquarters apparently is a maildrop. Nonetheless, major corporate entities appear to be scared to death of it. In 2010, ABC News planned to have Andrew Breitbart participate as a guest in a televised election town hall meeting. Color of Change initiated an online petition — the kind available for creation to anyone with an Internet connection — falsely and maliciously claiming Breitbart was a “liar and race-baiter with a long history of pushing false stories to achieve his political ends.” ABC, frightened of the maildrop group and lacking in what is satirically called “journalistic integrity,” laid an egg and caved.

Lately, Color of Change has been spewing racism allegations against supporters of Voter ID in an effort to stop voter integrity projects being spearheaded by groups such as the American Legislative Exchange Council, a national networking organization of elected state legislators that will celebrate its 40th anniversary next year.

Opponents of Voter ID frequently make the jaw-dropping and almost certainly racist claim that black and Hispanic citizens are less able than white Americans to obtain a government-issued ID (even when they are free, as in Texas), so it is amazing that opponents of voter integrity safeguards claim others are racist.
