His fearless advocacy for traditional American ideals, despite constant attacks and threats from radical leftist opponents, exemplified the kind of principled leadership desperately needed in today’s polarized political climate. Today’s tragic assassination represents not just the loss of a brilliant conservative voice, but a stark reminder of how far the extreme left will go to silence those who dare to challenge their destructive agenda with truth and facts.

This is indeed a tragic day for the conservative movement and for all Americans who believe in free speech and peaceful political discourse. My prayers are with his family, friends and the entire Turning Point USA community during this devastating time.

Once again, we are experiencing extreme political violence from the left. We are dealing with a group of people who believe that their thoughts and opinions are superior to others, and if people do not align with them, they have the right to physically attack them.

This is the United States of America and groupthink is the death of our democracy. My heart is broken for my friend and this amazing young patriot, Charlie Kirk. The Left has stoked the flames of political violence against God-fearing people like Charlie Kirk, while expressing sympathy toward those who perpetrate evil on innocent victims. Charlie expressed his faith in Christ Jesus before he was killed, and for that, “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints” (Psalm 116:15).

The pro-criminal policies of the Left result in the death of millions of Americans each year, in and outside of the womb. How can those who rally for abortion, open borders, legalized toxic drugs, human trafficking, genital mutilation and hate feel the loss of someone as consequential as Charlie Kirk? They can’t!

The hatred from the Left is so prevalent that when Stephen Colbert recently announced that President Trump was “very much alive,” his audience booed. This represents the worst of the Left.

Love him (like me) or hate him, the 31-year-old Charlie Kirk will go down in history as one of the most influential and substantial people in America. Charlie’s death will not cause riots in urban or suburban America like that of George Floyd. No conservative will seek retribution by destroying government property, breaking into department stores or torching the communities we live in. No. We will lift up his wife, his two small children and loved ones in prayer, and “mourn with those who mourn” (Romans 12:15).

First of all, I am very saddened by the murder of Charlie Kirk, a man who truly was willing to engage with, and not dismiss, those with whom he disagreed.

But his death, I believe, is from the same hands who spread death and destruction throughout the country and especially the black community — whether it is destroying the black nuclear family, encouraging death via abortion, guns, turning from Gd, or policies that have torn communities apart.

I believe Kirk was killed not only because he spoke the truth, but because he encouraged others, especially young adults, to learn the truth and to learn about Gd.

According to biblical teachings, the heart is described as “deceitfully wicked,” raising the question of how well we truly understand our own motivations and actions. Frequently, the paths that appear right to individuals can lead to destructive outcomes, especially when influenced by pride and a self-centered worldview rooted in human secularism.

The tragic events surrounding Charlie Kirk, a prominent advocate for the restoration of morality and foundational Christian values in our society, serve as a stark reminder of the consequences when evil is left unchecked.

Kirk dedicated his life to promoting the importance of family values and faith, urging society to return to basic principles of right and wrong. The recent loss, resulting from the actions of an individual overtaken by malice, highlights the urgent need to confront the divisive forces impacting our communities.

At this critical juncture, it is important to resist the urge to assign blame or resort to divisive rhetoric. Instead, we must recognize the deep divisions present within our society and focus on rebuilding unity through shared values. I was in the U.S. House Gallery when Speaker Johnson called for a moment of silence and prayer for Charlie Kirk and his family. The Left exploded in anger and childlike behavior. I can’t believe that these people are our representatives. I observed this demeanor firsthand, and I was appalled!

It is unfortunate that someone from the Left has decided to take the life of Charlie Kirk for using his constitutional right of free speech. Those of us who speak the truth must not allow this heinous act of violence to stop us from speaking out or to scale back our outreach to those who need to hear the truth. As we mourn Charlie’s death, we are also inspired to finish his work.

America and the world needs to return to God. America, please pray, Our only hope is in Jesus Christ.

Charlie Kirk was a young man of faith beyond his years, who dared to dream of a nation that truly holds to its founding, which is freedom. Although many may disagree with Charlie’s message, he did not silence those who opposed him nor want their lives to end as a result.

Political violence has claimed the life of an extraordinary young man of 31 years, Charlie Kirk, founder and leader of Turning Point USA. Charlie’s influence with millennials and Gen Z and the use of his many platforms helped to mobilize youth across the country.

Charlie was effective in persuading millions of young people to embrace conservatism and ultimately Christianity. He turned many young people away from the influence of socialism and leftism, and the political left hated him for it.

Radical leftist politicians and those in the legacy media who constantly use incendiary rhetoric fostered the hostile environment of political violence that claimed Charlie’s life and those of others before him. We pray for his wife, children and the millions who loved him. Rest in peace!

Networks like MSNBC should truly be ashamed of themselves for their commentary in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s shooting. Matthew Dowd’s blame-the-victim comments were particularly reprehensible.

We live in a country blessed with the freedom to disagree and the freedom to promote your ideas. All of that is predicated on persuasion and not the use of violence. Charlie Kirk embodied the idea of debate and persuasion. He will be sorely missed.

Horace appeared tonight on a special second hour of Fox News’ “Hannity” to discuss Kirk’s assassination. In his segment, Horace told host Sean Hannity and fellow panelists Joe Concha and Guy Benson:

What this feels like is like September 11th. We changed after that horrific event. I regret that as a 30-something that I didn’t join the military to fight for my country and to seek the justice that was deserved.

But I tell you here and now: I will not back down! Free speech is worth it! Charlie Kirk’s life is worth it! We all must agree to join the effort to stand up!
