Ayshia Connors

Project 21 Ambassador Ayshia Connors is the Southwest Regional Director for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Previously Ayshia has served as the director of government relations for American Urban Strategies, where she spent time advocating in front of the House and the Senate; the policy and community outreach director for the Diabetes Patient Advocacy Coalition, notably impacting the passage of Senator Dick Durbin’s bipartisan Affordable Insulin Approvals Now Act in 2019; the congressional caucus director for the Millennial Action Project, where she set and implemented the policy agenda for a bipartisan caucus of over forty members of Congress; the director of communications and external affairs for the Arizona Republican Party; the senior policy advisor to Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, where she crafted thirteen amendments for the National Defense Authorization Act which were all included when it passed the House; the deputy director of strategic media for the 58th Presidential Inaugural Committee; the deputy director of African American political and media engagement for the Republican National Committee; and the legislative correspondent to Congressman Rob Woodall of Georgia.

Ayshia graduated from Arizona State University with three bachelor’s degrees while maintaining her spot on the Dean’s List. She lives in Salt Lake City with her two beautiful children, Isak and Jordyn.
