Esther Bouquet serves as the Free Enterprise Project Associate at the National Center for Public Policy Research.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in government from the College of William & Mary and later obtained her law degree from Elon University School of Law. During law school, she served as Editor-in-Chief of We the People, Elon Law’s constitutional law journal, and completed her residency-in-practice at the North Carolina Court of Appeals.

Esther has experience in private practice and with educational nonprofits. In 2022, Esther worked with the Bill of Rights Institute to develop educational programs focused on civil discourse.

She currently lives in Alexandria, Virginia, with her American Doberman, Zuzu.
