J. BRIAN HICKS

J. Brian Hicks is a former supervisory special agent with the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, the law enforcement arm of the U.S. Department of State responsible for criminal investigations and for managing the protection of diplomatic personnel, facilities and information worldwide. His diplomatic assignments included the U.S. embassies in Albania, former Soviet Georgia, Burkina Faso and Azerbaijan.

J. Brian has been associated with both conservative and libertarian causes since 1990. He currently spends his time traveling the world as a perpetual nomad, and actively managing a private investment portfolio. He is a magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C.
