
Project 21 Ambassador Johanna Blanding-Koskinen serves as a Chaplain with the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) and as a Red Cross Chaplain in Disaster Spiritual Care (DSC), providing emotional and spiritual support in the aftermath of emergencies and disasters.
In addition to field ministry, Johanna is actively engaged in writing and editorial work. She is Content Editor for BibleRef.com and Editor-in-Chief of The Literary Apologetic, an upcoming platform dedicated to the intersection of literature and Christian apologetics. This summer, she will be teaching an extension course in Narrative Theology at Calvary Chapel.
Johanna holds a degree in English Literature from Sonoma State University (Rohnert Park, CA), where her academic interests first began to take shape around the relationship between narrative, meaning and cultural expression. She is currently a candidate for the Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies at Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi.
