JOVANI PATTERSON

Jovani Patterson

Project 21 Ambassador Jovani Patterson, a proud Baltimore native, firmly believes that quality education is the key to unlocking Baltimore’s full potential.

In January 2022, Jovani and his wife Shawnda filed a groundbreaking lawsuit against Baltimore City Public Schools, challenging systemic failures that have long hindered student success.

As a cybersecurity engineer, Jovani tackles complex network security challenges, safeguarding state, local, and educational institutions from cyber threats.

In 2020, Jovani channeled his problem-solving skills into public service by running for Baltimore City Council President. Although he didn’t win, he made history by securing over 42,000 votes—the highest ever for a Republican candidate in that race.

Guided by the principles of faith, family and freedom, Jovani is deeply committed to “Bringing Family Back,” a vision for a revitalized and thriving Baltimore. As a co-founder and content creator at Metro Conservative Media, Jovani amplifies conservative perspectives on current events and critical issues affecting the community. Through thought-provoking discussions and innovative content, he works to inspire meaningful change and empower others to take action.
