Evangelist Latasha H. Fields, a Project 21 ambassador, has been a home educator for over 18 years and passionately advocates for parental rights, unconventional education and community empowerment. She and her husband, Evangelist Ronald L. Fields II, are the founders and overseers of Our Report Ministries & Publications, an evangelistic outreach ministry.
Latasha is the founder of Christian Home Educators Support System (CHESS), a homeschool co-op and support group and a K-12 online and in-person microschool; and Empowering Parents Igniting Communities (EPIC), a parental rights organization on the southside of Chicago.
Latasha is the current Illinois state coordinator for ParentalRights.org, has been recognized as a 1776 Unites Achiever of the Woodson Center, and was once a candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Illinois.
For nearly two decades, Latasha has been a vocal critic of government education, opposing its tendency to usurp and undermine God-given parental authority, its complete failure in academic proficiency, and its sexualization and indoctrination of children with explicit sexual curricula and extreme racial and Marxist ideologies. In recognition of her dedication and efforts to rescue students from the Apostles of Wokeism in government schools, she received the Illinois Family Institute’s 2021 “Voice of Truth” award. Latasha echoes the great work of Booker T. Washington, who said that “education is not a thing apart from life—not a ‘system,’ nor a philosophy; it is direct teaching how to live and how to work.”
Latasha shared her personal testimony of perseverance and hard work with the U.S. Congressional House Budget Committee during a hearing called “Poverty in America: Economic Realities of Struggling Families.” Her opinion piece entitled “God, Parents, and the ‘1619 Project'” was published in The Wall Street Journal. Additionally, she has appeared on Fox News, Fox & Friends, Newsmax, C-SPAN, InfoWars, Center Square, and various podcasts and media outlets, where she discusses Christian education, homeschooling, economic empowerment, the importance of the divine family structure, and biblical conservative values.
Latasha has over 14 years of real estate experience and certifications in property management and nonprofit housing. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Trinity Christian College with a 4.0 GPA.
Latasha and her husband, Ronald, have over 25 years of combined entrepreneurial experience. They own and operate 3rd Phase Barbershop in the South Shore community. Ronald is a master barber and clipper technician and serves as the 21st Ward Republican Committeeman.
Latasha and Ronald have four children: two homeschooled graduates, one college graduate and one entering a trade program.
