SHAKIRA JACKSON

Project 21’s Shakira Jackson is a policy analyst for the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT) and host of the “Capitol Pink” video series.

Shakira is a proactive communicator, community organizer, environmentalist, fossil fuels activist and political commentator who longs to live one day in a world that enhances the fruitfulness of the earth and all of its inhabitants. Her biggest aspiration is to bring all environmental coalitions together toward that end.

Shakira graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in three years with degrees in history and political science. She has been an active volunteer and political activist in both Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.
