Project 21 Freedom Fellow Syrai Matthews resides in the Baltimore area and is currently majoring in business.

As she grows older and gains greater wisdom and experience, she hopes to use those lessons to inspire and lead others, particularly those of her generation. She believes her generation has both an opportunity and a responsibility to help shape the future of our country and our world. Through thoughtful ideas, meaningful leadership and a commitment to positive change, she hopes to make a lasting contribution and help build a better future for generations to come.
