APOSTLE TOMMY E. QUICK

Tommy E. Quick

Apostle Tommy E. Quick, a Project 21 ambassador, is the founder of The Promised Land Christian Discipleship Center and Christian Families Against Destructive Decisions (CFADD).

For nearly five decades, Apostle Quick has not merely preached the Gospel but has manifested it into tangible sanctuaries of hope, building three churches that serve as beacons in the Carolinas. What distinguishes him is not just his longevity in ministry but his relentless innovation and adaptability.

The Promised Land Christian Discipleship Center represents more than brick and mortar; it embodies his unwavering commitment to spiritual excellence. As a member of COGIC he has assisted in the building NC3rd serving in multiple leadership roles simultaneously—Chief of Staff, Superintendent, Chairman— demonstrating exceptional administrative acumen rarely seen in spiritual leaders.

His greatest strength lies in his holistic vision for community transformation. While others talk about change, he creates it:
• He saw beyond spiritual needs to physical ones, developing the 47-home Trinity Gates subdivision
• He recognized educational gaps and established Legacy Christian School
• He identified family deterioration as a crisis and launched CFADD as a nationwide solution

Apostle Quick has walked a path few could navigate with such grace. For 49 years, he has poured himself into ministry, weathering the storms that come withstanding firmly for biblical truth in an increasingly secular world. His journey began decades ago, and through patience and persistence, he has cultivated not just church buildings but human souls. Each of the three churches Apostle Quick pioneered represents countless late nights, challenging conversations, and moments of divine intervention.

The creation of CFADD in 2020 came during what was described as “the greatest trial of my life”—a period of physical and social isolation. Yet even in this darkness, he found purpose and direction, transforming personal pain into collective healing for families across the nation. This speaks to his remarkable resilience:
• When facing obstacles, he sees opportunities for ministry
• When confronting societal problems, he builds systematic solutions
• When experiencing isolation, he creates community

Apostle Quick’s dedication to family isn’t merely professional—it’s deeply personal. The home he has built with Valerie over 40 years, nurturing five children who’ve blessed him with grandchildren and great-grandchildren, reflects quiet evenings of counsel, mornings of prayer, and years of consistent example-setting. The phrase “I found my life in the church and now the church has become my life” reveals the beautiful surrender that has characterized his journey. Apostle Quick has given himself fully to his calling, and in that giving, has discovered the paradoxical fullness that comes only through selfless service. His life testifies that true fulfillment isn’t found in taking but in offering yourself completely to what matters most.
