Wayne Dupree, a member of the Project 21 black leadership network, first became known on the Internet as the “News Ninja.”
Inspired by a meeting with Andrew Breitbart just a few weeks before the conservative media guru’s death in 2012, Wayne went on to quickly garner over 50,000 Twitter followers, over 47,000 Facebook friends and founded the NewsNinja website that received over 2.2 million unique views during his first two years of conservative social media activism. He now has over 350,000 Twitter followers and over 420,000 Facebook followers. And the WayneDupree.com website receives approximately one million page views every month.
Wayne hosts “The Wayne Dupree Show” podcast. He has also been a contributor to The Political Insider, Headline Politics, Townhall.com, Newsmax TV and the One America News Network. He has appeared on the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” black conservative special and “Fox & Friends” as well as appeared on two Glenn Beck specials. He has been a radio guest on nationally syndicated shows hosted by Mark Levin, Sean Hannity and Steve Malzberg. His writing has been published in the Washington Times.
He was identified among the top 50 Influential African-American Republicans by Newsmax. He was also awarded the Blogger of the Year, Podcast of the Year and Pioneer in New Media awards by the American Conservative Union at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
Wayne was a frequent speaker at Tea Party rallies across America, where he participated in a 2014 Florida-to-Minnesota bus tour hosted by the Tea Party Express that staged rallies in over a dozen cities.
He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served in Operation Desert Shield/Operation Desert Storm.
