Project 21 member Ebonique Ellis is a political consultant with a specialty in communications and marketing. She has worked with gubernatorial and congressional candidates, state-based and national nonprofits and party-affiliated groups. She is an expert in increasing YouTube views, email click-through rates and search engine optimization strategies. She has a content strategy certification with YouTube and is a winner of the Co-lab Factory Women Startup Award.

Ellis earned a Bachelor of Arts in classical civilization from Howard University, where she was awarded the school’s Trustee Scholarship. She also received a scholarship to study at the Nissan Institute of Japanese Studies at Oxford University. She is a fan of the UFC and Minor League Baseball.
