NIGER INNIS

Niger Innis, a longtime member of the Project 21 black leadership network, is the chairman of the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) — one of the nation’s most famous and influential civil rights organizations.

Niger is co-chairman of the Affordable Power Alliance, a coalition of minority ministerial organizations concerned about resource issues. He is the co-founder of the New America organization and has also worked with Senior Citizen Advocates, the EEN247 cable channel, the Membership Committee of the National Rifle Association and various local chambers of commerce across America. He is also the former chief strategist for TeaParty.net.

The executive director of the Tea Party News Network, he is also a frequent television and radio commentator, having previously appeared on CNN, CNBC, NPR, the Fox News Channel, MSNBC, the BBC and many other media platforms.

Born and raised on Harlem, New York, Niger studied political science at Georgetown University in Washington. DC and now lives in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
