Of course, I have never washed it.<\/p>\n<p>Tonight, when the Seahawks started breathing down the Steelers&#8217; necks and the Steelers&#8217; play was not really all that we might have hoped for (being honest here), I draped my Terrible Towel across the top of my TV set. Carefully. Just like I did at Mom&#8217;s and Dad&#8217;s house.<\/p>\n<p>Immediately came several key plays. The Steelers never looked back.<\/p>\n<p>Jerome Bettis <a href=\"http:\/\/www.forbes.com\/business\/businesstech\/feeds\/ap\/2006\/02\/05\/ap2501538.html\">said<\/a>, &#8220;It was just a matter of time before we got it going.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Time &#8212; and a towel.<\/p>\n<p><b>Addendum 2\/6\/06:<\/b> More on the Terrible Towel <a href=\"http:\/\/seattlepi.nwsource.com\/football\/257984_fill02.html\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thepresstribune.com\/articles\/2006\/02\/03\/opinion\/editorials\/01edit.txt\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>. In regards to the latter link, which goes to a delightful story by Sherri L.
