A Newsmax columnist highlights Project 21<\/a><\/strong> in a recent commentary<\/a><\/strong> about immigration policy, noting that the recommendations found in Project 21’s\u00a0\u201cBlueprint for a Better Deal for Black America\u201d<\/a> <\/strong>are being wholly ignored by the liberals\u2019 political superstars.<\/p>\n

Clarence V. McKee, commenting on liberal presidential candidates, writes that they \u201conly care about protecting illegal immigrants; that is, giving them free health care and other benefits as well as decriminalizing illegal entry across our borders.\u201d<\/p>\n

He further suggests that \u201c[a]ll other Americans \u2014 black, white, brown, veterans, seniors, the middle class, permanent residents, and naturalized citizens\u00a0 \u2014 are\u00a0not\u00a0a priority\u201d to these liberal leaders.<\/p>\n

As for a solution, he notes:<\/p>\n

Project 21, an organization of black conservative leaders, supported the president\u2019s enforcement policies to “stop the unfair strain on public services caused by illegal immigration.”<\/p>\n

Its\u00a0report, “Blueprint for a Better Deal for Black America”<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>observes that taxpayer funded programs are “being reduced or unavailable to black Americans in too many communities due to illegal residents taking advantage of them.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Project 21\u2019s Blueprint specifically states that black Americans \u201cshouldn\u2019t be forced to subsidize people who are not in the United States legally\u201d For immigration reform, it recommends:<\/p>\n
