{"id":45051,"date":"2023-03-05T15:39:00","date_gmt":"2023-03-05T20:39:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nationalcenter.org\/?p=45051"},"modified":"2023-03-05T15:39:15","modified_gmt":"2023-03-05T20:39:15","slug":"horace-cooper-biden-signals-to-criminals-that-its-their-time-to-shine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nationalcenter.org\/ncppr\/2023\/03\/05\/horace-cooper-biden-signals-to-criminals-that-its-their-time-to-shine\/","title":{"rendered":"Horace Cooper: Biden Signals to Criminals That It&#8217;s Their Time to Shine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Project 21 Chairman Horace Cooper blasted both America&#8217;s top credit card companies and President Biden in a feisty discussion about crime on the Fox News Channel program &#8220;The Ingraham Angle.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Responding to reports that Discover and other credit card companies plan to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nraila.org\/articles\/20230227\/credit-card-company-seeks-to-discover-and-report-your-gun-related-purchases\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">start monitoring<\/a> their customers&#8217; gun related purchases, Horace said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>These companies do not need to be in the business of keeping track of what you&#8217;re doing when you make your purchase, as long as it&#8217;s lawful.<\/p>\n<p>Spend more time figuring out how to get the interest rates lower, rather than this nonsense that threatens the civil liberties of the American people.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Horace also had choice words regarding President Biden&#8217;s handling of our nation&#8217;s crime epidemic:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>This president started his 2020 campaign by picking as his running mate someone who was supporting getting people out of jail for the most heinous crimes, and he has raised a white flag across America&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>His administration, his Department of Justice, has signaled mightily: It&#8217;s open season.
