Mychal Massie, chairman of Project 21, talks about the politics behind the newest $26 billion “emergency” spending bill that brought the House of Representatives back from its vacation. Supporters say the money is allegedly necessary to keep teachers and others from being laid off. Mychal, whose comments begin at 1:21, says the goal of the spending is to improperly buy votes for elected officias at a time when the nation cannot afford further deficit spending.
Joining Mychal in the discussion on the August 14, 2010 edition of “Freedom Watch” on the Fox Business Channel are talk show host Nancy Skinner, Donald Boudreaux of George Mason University/Mercatus Center and host Judge Andrew Napolitano.
