On Mandatory Breastfeeding and Other Left-Wing Mandates

On the August 4 edition of “America Live” on the Fox News Channel, Project 21 fellow Deneen Borelli talks about what she calls the “progressives’ assault on our liberty” in response to model Gisele Bundchen (Mrs. Tom Brady of the New England Patriots) telling Harper’s Bazaar there should be a “worldwide law” mandating that mothers breast feed their babies for six months after birth, and PETA attacking ‘American Idol’ contestant Kristy Lee Cook because she has a hunting show.

Bunchen has now disavowed responsibility for her comments without claiming to have been misquoted, and no wonder: she reportedly breast fed her own son only for three weeks.

Heck, I managed two months with twins with another child under 1 year who still drank with a bottle (not exclusively) to care for, so, as far as I am concerned, Gisele Bundchen is a wimp, but then, liberals usually are.

(Of course, the breast-feeding Nazis would say the same about me. The wimp bit, I mean.)

But back to the broadcast: Deneen was joined by host Megyn Kelly, Fox legal analyst Kimberly Guilfoyle and OK! magazine editor Eloise Parker in this August 4 Fox News channel broadcast.
