MoveOn Email of the Day

Bob Parks has a MoveOn Email Of The Day on his personal Black & Right website. Looks to me as though MoveOn.org is trying to recruit members, followers and/or donors exploiting the events in Tucson, because the point of the email is to encourage recipients to sign a petition on web page that provides options for doing other things with MoveOn.org.

The petition is to be sent to Congress and “the major TV news networks.” Are these folks presently pro-violence, awaiting only a bunch of petitions to help them see the light?

MoveOn.org ‘s email refers to “the terrifying fact is that this act of violence falls into a pattern” and then lists examples (the same ones Andrew Sullivan complained about Saturday).

Political violence against conservatives over the past year or so were not included. Apparently, MoveOn.org did not consider these incidents worth listing.
