Your Government at Work – Unionizing It

NLRBLogoCarter Wood, writing for Shopfloor, the blog of the National Association of Manufacturers, reports the federal government is buying Google ads advertising the federal National Labor Relations Board, which, the ads claim, will help people learn how form a union.

The NLRB is not supposed to be forming unions. It is, instead, charged with enforcing the National Labor Relations Act, as described on this cached page from the NLRB’s website.

Interestingly, if you go to that page on the NLRB website now, you get “page not found.”

Maybe the Obama Administration has unilaterally decided to change the mission of the NLRB?

See a screenshot of the NRLB’s actual ad, and another that Shopfloor/the National Association of Manufacturers was able to find, here.
