Deneen Talks Spending, Suing and Social Networking on Fox News

On the 8/6/11 edition of “America’s News Headquarters” on the Fox News Channel, Project 21 fellow Deneen Borelli says that the lack of attention to out of control spending by President Obama and his supporters is a primary reason behind the Standard and Poor’s downgrade of America’s credit rating.  The panel also discusses the legal intricacies of a custody case in which a baby was kidnapped abroad and placed with an American couple who assumed they were involved in a lawful adoption.

In a second segment, Deneen speaks about America’s increasingly “litigious society” as it relates to a lawsuit in which a person’s rescuers are now suing her for injuries incurred during rescue efforts.  She also comments on a new study about social networking that points to what she calls an “obsessive” new need for people to receive feedback from others on their actions.

Participating in this “Power Panel” on the 8/6/11 edition of “America’s News Headquarters” on the Fox News Channel with Deneen are host Heather Childers and Fox News legal analysts Mercedes Colwin and Lis Wiehl.
