National Center’s Stier Explains How Water May Not Be Wet Enough for Regulators in Europe

National Center Risk Analysis Division director Jeff Stier appears on the 11/25/11 edition of Craig Henne’s morning-drive radio show on WPBR-West Palm Beach.  Jeff discusses how the regulatory mindset in Europe is so strict that it is now a criminal offense in some places (that comes with jail time) for businesses to say that bottled water can help fight dehydration.  Why?  Not enough scientific proof!
