12 Apr 2024 Horace Cooper: While Awaiting Dexter Reed Investigation, I Back the Blue

On Fox News’ “Hannity,” Project 21 Chairman Horace Cooper joined host Sean Hannity and fellow panelist Paul Mauro in a discussion of the latest high-profile cop-involved shooting of a black man — in this case, the shooting of Dexter Reed.

While acknowledging that we still lack information and understanding regarding the incident, Horace said that he chooses to support the police:

I’m gonna put my cards on the table: I back the men in blue.

I understand that there’s an investigation that is underway. But I also understand that we need people who are willing to put their lives on the line so that they can protect and prevent the law of the jungle.

When our public schools fail us, when our moms and dads fail us, when social programs don’t work, only the men in blue are left to step in and clean up the job.
