Dr. Howard Summers

RESEARCHER AT ABLE AMERICANS

Dr. Howard Summers is a member of the Able Americans Project research team, which is presently conducting an inventory of federal policies relating to disabilities in the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Education and the Department of Justice. His immediate role is supervising the five student researchers from Belmont University and collating their research.

Dr. Summers was born and raised in South Africa, where he obtained a Ph.D. in Religious Studies at the University of the Witwatersrand. After teaching at tertiary level for over 20 years, he opened his own education consultancy which he still administers.
