Tom Borelli Talks Energy Policy Tuesday Afternoon on Fox Business Network

Dr. Tom Borelli, director of the National Center’s Free Enterprise Project, will be a guest on the Fox Business Network on Tuesday afternoon at approximately 1:20PM eastern.

Tom is scheduled to talk about energy policy and the Obama Administration’s war on fossil fuels.

Recently, Tom criticized the Environmental Protection Agency for misleading comments seemingly covering up the very real possibility that new regulations being pushed by the Obama Administration could bring the reliability of the nation’s electrical grid into question.

Responding to queries by Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), commissioners at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission revealed that FERC is not formally assessing the impact of the EPA’s anti-coal regulations on the ability to meet demands for electricity.  EPA officials previously stated otherwise.

Tom said: “The EPA’s deception of the public is outrageous and it exposes the agency’s underlying zeal to regulate without regard to the consequences of its actions.  EPA’s actions may very well put the reliability of our electricity supply in jeopardy.”
